About Me
Gracie | Birthkeeper
As a little girl, I was either in my backyard playing under the trees or taking care of my baby dolls. Plants and babies were always my thing. In 2015 I unexpectedly attended my first birth. I supported my friend through her labor, witnessed the magic of a child's first breath and the door to birth work opened. Since then I have been in awe of all things birth, the motherbaby bond, and the sacred ancestral line mothers have formed throughout time.
I graduated with a degree in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability from CSU Fort Collins in 2018 and spent the following year traveling and farming in Hawaii. There I was able to link my education with my intuitive knowing about what was true and healthy for the earth. Birth and land stewardship and cultivation have so much in common to me, and are the psychic and material "roots" of our humanness and our earthly-ness. So in 2020 I began working as an urban organic vegetable farmer for GoFarm Colorado and took a full spectrum doula training through Doula Trainings International.
I became a mother in 2021. Quickly I learned that motherhood is a potent spiritual teacher, and that birth was a natural event that called for a focused and ceremonial birth field resonance. Through this lesson I heard the call to sovereign birth and learned everything I could about this path. I have now graduated from both Free Birth Society's Radical Birth Keeper School and Matribirth Mentor Institute.
I freebirthed my second child in 2024. Transformed by my experience, I shifted my work from fierce defender doula to wise, trusting sister. As a birthkeeper, I remind mother's of the constant connection of all the parts of yourself (spiritual, emotional, physical and mental) and invite you to cultivate and claim beauty and meaning in your birth and your journey to parenthood. True power awaits every woman and our collective liberation starts within you. And so it is!

When a motherbaby is nurtured in reverence during postpartum, a family can transform into their highest vision. A mother can emerge anew, even healed from longstanding issues from her past. The gifts of the birth portal may be received when she is able to rest and replenish physically and energetically.
The birthkeeper helps the mother integrate her birth, ritualize the postpartum time, assist with newborn care, feed the family nourishing meals, and do light housekeeping tasks. Whole family bonding is supported, and structure of postpartum days can be suggested. Essentials of care include presence, nourishment, and wisdom sharing.
Shifts last 2-3 hours, schedules are curated on an individual basis.

A Birth Story Integration Session is a one-on-one meeting for mother's to integrate her unique birth experience on new levels. Unravelling the details and piecing back together the potent meanings and lessons is medicine to tender heart and provides structure and strength for generations to come.
No matter how the birth unfolded, or how much time has passed, a birth story integration session can profoundly shift your inner story, limiting beliefs, and patterns of the self.
